As a long-time BLACKPINK fan and passionate PlayStation gamer, I couldn’t be more excited about this announcement: Lisa is officially the new global ambassador for PlayStation! 🖤💗🎮

I’ve been following BLACKPINK almost since their debut, and I’ve been lucky enough to attend many of their concerts. My collection of albums, lightsticks, and merch keeps growing with every comeback and world tour. On the gaming side, I’ve been a PlayStation fan for as long as I can remember—I own every console from the original PS1 all the way to the PS5.So when two of the things I love most came together, it felt like the perfect combo.

Lisa x PlayStation: A Fusion of Style, Power, and Play

On July 1, PlayStation officially announced Lisa as their new global ambassador—marking an exciting new chapter where gaming and K-pop merge in the best way possible. BLACKPINK as a group has become a global powerhouse, and Lisa has truly carved out her own space in the world as a fashion icon, performer, actress (hello The White Lotus!), and now gamer. Her energy, style, and global appeal align perfectly with what PlayStation represents: boldness, creativity, and pushing boundaries in entertainment.

In the video, Lisa is seen playing Astro’s Playroom, Tekken 8, and Helldivers 2—a fun mix that shows her playful and competitive sides. I loved how natural and comfortable she looked with a controller in hand! The background track? None other than “Lifestyle” from her new solo album “Alter Ego”, adding the perfect blend of music and gaming in one sleek campaign video.

Another video shared by PlayStation shows Lisa choosing her favorite DualSense controller. She went with the stunning Chroma Pearl, which totally fits her aesthetic—sleek, elegant, and modern. But honestly? I couldn’t help but think... if there had been a yellow option, I bet she might’ve gone for that instead! 😄

As for me, my personal favorite is the limited edition Astro Bot controller—it’s so cute and colorful! I wish I could’ve added that one to my collection, but sadly it was out of stock. Still, I think that one would’ve been a great fit for Lisa too, considering how much fun she had playing Astro’s Playroom.
